Satyaki

He was from Yadu descent, who mostly had republics in North India. The famous dynasties of Virbharbas, Kalachuri, Hoysala, Chedi, Salvahan and Rashtrakutas claim descent from Satyaki. Many Jats, Gujjar also claim Yadu Vamsh, like many Rajputs. Yadus were republicans and often intermarried with Purus and Ikshavakus, other Vedic tribes.

"Yadu Chandarvamsh Kshatriya"

Satyaki, also known as Yuyudhana was a famous hero of  Mahabharata and cousin of Lord Krishna. He was the grandson of Rajan Saini also known as 'Sini in text (source: Puranas by Pargiter, Bhargava and Agarwal). Sainy(as) or Sainey(as) are a branch of Vrsni, Satvata Yadavas, in which he was born.

The Mahabharat by Kamla Subramaniam narrates, '...Satyaki did not care who came in front of him. He fought gloriously with Kritavarma. He was hurt terribly by the arrows of Kritvarma. His body was covered with blood. Satyaki was very angry with his cousin for attacking him...' '....I will prove to them that I am indeed the cousin of Krishna and the pupil of Arjuna....'. Satyaki, the greatest of the heroes on the Pandava side.
